The Proxes R888R is Toyo’s New Competition tire developed to deliver faster lap times and improved dry handling than the previous Proxes R888. Boasting an advanced tread design and an enhanced contact patch, the Proxes R888R places more rubber on the track and delivers a decidedly competitive dry handling abilities with extreme horizontal grips for multiple racing and track day activities and events. Features of the Proxes R888R includes a High Grip Race Compound that allows the tire to reach optimum functioning temperature quickly and delivers reliable performance while offering improved traction for outstanding cornering capability. An optimized contact patch increases dry grip during braking, cornering or driving at high speeds. Large outer tread blocks maximize horizontal traction for better cornering ability. Wide center rib helps directional solidity and accurate steering response. Water evacuation grooves help with wet grip performance.
